Sorry for the lag time in posting. A lot has happened, but I'll try to nutshell it....I know that no one wants to see every photo from every thing we've done these past 2 months!!! :) I was going to post the pictures in order of the event, but something happened last night, and then something else happened today that has caused me to jump ahead in time and share this huge event(s) first. One of Katey's "big" front teeth finally came out last night and on the way home from school today, the other came out! LOTS of excitement going on around here!!! The tooth fairy is likely to go broke!
So, to back up......we went to my cousin Tina's in Hopkinton, MA (right outside of Boston) for Thanksgiving. Had a great time with all of my cousins and their families, along with my Godparents, Aunt Sid and Uncle Beau, and of course, Papa and Pam. Katey knew 3 of her cousins, Bridget, Caroline and Meredith, but had no idea she had 6 others. She was overwhelmed to say the least. The little jabberjaws couldn't get a word in most of the time. I think she had a great time, but was glad to be home again where SHE was/is the center of attention!!!
Florida State beat Florida..........wahoooooooooo! (not that it means much to most of you, but it was huge to us!!!)
December brought lots of fun. Our first "event" was The Nutcracker in Sarasota. Cousin Susan was Clara so she was in the whole show. It was so exciting to see her dancing up on stage......Katey was mesmerized. We got our first "real" Christmas tree, cut Katey's hair (back to bangs), baked cookies, Katey had several "play dates" (I hate that expression!) and we rang in the New Year with another FSU win........wahoooooooooo! (guess I already said that!) Santa got carried away, as usual.........sigh.
Back to school last week and now ready to enjoy a 3-day weekend........thank you MLK Jr.! Guess I'll get out "Junie B Jones the toothless wonder" and read to ole Uncle LOU.....aka: my child!!! :)
