We were beginning to wonder if this day would ever come......it did, but not in the way we thought it would. For weeks (and weeks, and weeks) we have been "wishful wiggling" one of Katey's teeth and it just didn't seem ready........or at least ready enough to give it a good yank! This morning, we were lying around in bed and Katey grabbed her pillowcase with her teeth. I told her to "get that out of your mouth" and I yanked it away. She looked at me kind of funny and I said "did your tooth just come out?" We both looked down and there it was sitting on the pillow. It was so tiny that I thought it had broken off mid-yank, but upon further review, the whole thing came out.......it just seemed so tiny all alone. Then Katey got big tears in her eyes and I was so afraid she was in pain. I asked her if she was and she said, "no, I'm just happy!" Awwwwwwww!!!! She is thrilled with the stuffed tooth fairy that I gave her (look closely at her little bag and you'll see "the" tooth!) and can't wait to go to bed tonight.......might be even more thrilled to go to school and finally be a member of the jack-o-lantern club!!!

That is so neat!!! No way am I telling Wendy!! She has been working so hard on hers but no results yet.
Where did you find the Tooth Fairy doll? Very cute!
I promise you, that sucker would not have come out today had it not been for what happened. I think it had at least another week or so. Found the doll at a children's store here.......I'll see if I can find another and send it to you.....unless you have one ready??? Katey is SO excited! She had a GREAT day!
Funny how things work huh? I don't have anything for her teeth. I was going to look and see if I can find one similar. Let me know if you find one and I'll be happy to reimburse you.
Miss talking with you. I know you must be busy... God knows I have been. lol
Got it this afternoon......will put it in the mail tomorrow. :)
You are so sweet. I'm sorry I didn't get word to you that it arrived fast. We left for my moms on spring break and didn't touch the computer for a whole week.
Wendy was so excited about getting her tooth fairy for sure, but the note from Katey meant so much to her. It is like those little teeth have the longest ole roots ever since they aren't easy to come out! No telling at this rate when she will lose hers. We will keep you posted for sure.
Glad it arrived and Wendy likes it! Ours has sat dormant since that night....no more wiggling in sight!! It's actually ok though. Now that Katey has lost "the first," she seems in no panic/rush to lose any more. I'm sure we'll see some action fairly soon, but you have to remember, this first one wasn't quite ready either....it just "happened!" :)
