Today was the Letter People Parade at school. Each child (secretly) chose their own letter and dressed up accordingly. Katey picked B. For those with the sharper eye, you'll recognize her bee ballet costume from the recital last year. I was all over that.....$55 for an outfit that she wore once? Now it's twice and if I can figure out a third time, I will! :) We added balloons and on the way to school, she realized that she had on a band aid! Totally not planned! SO, she was a beautiful bumblebee ballerina with balloons and a band aid. There were a lot of cute costumes......one of my favorites was Nico, who was "night." Annie's was also creative........she was covered in Kleenex and she was "Achoooooooooo!" One more week of school........wahooooooooo!

Wendy is going to have her recital on the 20th and will be a cowgirl for Tap and a ballerina for Ballet. Our costumes were $80.00 for both.
Long story, our Dance teacher was unfortunately replaced. All of her students and their families are still upset about that!! We love Ms. Lugene so much and plan to move to her other place she will be next fall. Her "SUB" that was hired to take her place is botching everything up for the kids. It seems like they could have kept Ms. Lugene until the Recitals were over!! She had been teaching Dance at the college for 23 years!
Wish us luck. Not sure how it will all turn out without her.
Katie could still use her costume for Halloween this year. She sure is a cute bee.
