Katey woke up SO excited that it is Valentine's Day! She got a few treats from me and her Gamma (thanks Gam!) and loved her balloon......she's definitely got a thing for balloons. After breakfast, we picked Greg up and headed out for Fort DeSoto Beach. For those of you who don't know, Ft. DeSoto has been rated one of the best beaches in the US.......maybe the world? Anyway, it's very raw and beautiful out there.......perfect day to fly a kite. Greg, trooper that he is, flew the kite most of the time as Katey played in the sand and water. It was too cold to go into the water (which is why we're in street clothes), but we had fun. On the way home we opened up the windows as we cruised down the interstate. Katey had the best time.......she did scream when papers started flying out of the windows.........we put them up then and opened the sun roof. Greg's taking us to Bonefish for a Valentine Dinner tonight..........yum! Happy Valentine's Day to all!!!

It takes about 40 minutes to get there.....not that bad a trip, mostly highway. It is absolutely beautiful. We'll take you there when you come down. Bonefish is seafood (they have a few steaks and a little chicken too)....it's really good. Katey's favorite.

They are on March 2nd of 06' and are only getting 2 days worth right now every month.
Someone on another site said their agency is now saying they will be 12-14 more months before they get theirs. They are ahead of us a couple of days. When you count it out it should only be 4 months until we would hear, but since they are only doing a couple of days a month it will be much longer.
Just imagine if you had Katey at the age she is and waiting still for a baby. I really get upset knowing that Wendy is nearly 5 1/2 and still no baby sister.
I know you are right though, Mylie just isn't ready for us for one reason or another.
You are my true friend and I really appreciate you being here for me.
